Flip Flop Swap and VACATION!!

Brandy from You Don't Know held a Flip Flop Swap and I got mine in the mail yesterday. Aren't they cute??? Thanks to whoever sent them:)Ethan's new favorite thing to do is get into the fridge to grab a handful of grapes! He loves them.

He is just the right size to climb into the fridge to have a good look around.

My mother, Ethan and I will be leaving tomorrow for our cross country trip to visit my sister in Georgia! We will be staying a little over a week and driving back to Oklahoma for our Family Reunion. Eli will come to pick us up and drive us back to Texas so we can fly out to see his side of the family in Virginia and then drive to South Carolina. We will be home for good at the end of June. Oh, my it makes me tired just thinking about all that traveling! But we are excited to see all of our family and different parts of the country.
I will try to blog a little from the road if I can get our camera to upload onto the laptop. If not take care and we will see you at the end of June!

Even though he loves grapes, bananas are still his most favorite. He will stuff as much in his mouth as he can!

Curiosity Saved the Human- My Friend Jess

My good friend from Los Angeles, Jess Koehler, is the most gracious and generous person I know. From the time that I met her she has been searching for someone to help. Starting with the homeless on the streets of LA to her first mission trip (that I know of) to Zambia and now Haiti.

She is also a wonderful photographer. You can follow her on her blog, Curiosity Saved the Human, where she writes about her amazing adventures and shows off her breathtaking photographs.

She is giving away a Free print! Take a look how to enter here.

Thank you, Jess, for showing us the world from your eyes and behind your lens.

Wordfull Wednesday

I always post pictures of Ethan looking cute and happy. And he is, most of the time. But lately he has been turning into a not so sweet and cute little boy. Sometimes he gets upset because I won't let him do something or have something he wants.

Sometimes he gets upset for no reason at all or no reason I can come up with. I'm sure he knows exactly why he's upset. He just has a really hard time communicating that.

The fits usually end as quickly as they started.

And Ethan goes back to being my Sweet Boy.

Fun in the Bathtub

Ethan has found a new way to entertain himself in the bath tub! It's endless fun. Please don't look at my old grout. I can't seem to get it clean even with bleach. If anyone has any tricks let me know:)

Two is the New One- Rear Facing Car Seat!!

I've been asked many time when I was going to let Ethan turn around and face forward in his car seat. The answer is "As long as he fits in his rear facing car seat (35lbs) he will face the rear!!". I might even get another car seat if he out grows that one before two. Now the AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics) agrees. If you have a child under two please read this article from Seattle Children's Hospital and keep your child rear facing until two!!

Random Tuesday: Random Pics of the boy.

Sorry it's been so long since I posted last! We've been pretty busy with sewing for gifts and Etsy. I've also been doing a lot of cooking/freezing for Eli because Ethan and I will be taking a long trip with my Mother to Georgia to visit my sister! I want to make sure Eli has good food cooked for him so he won't starve or eat fast food.

His new Longhorn boxers I found at a garage sale! He loves them.

Our little gardener.
