Sewing Sewing Sewing

The week before we went to OK I was sewing up a storm. Here's a look at what I did:

Newborn dress and bloomers for Emma Leigh, Jason and Holly's baby girl due in July. I also made them 6 prefold burp cloths with various materials. These come in so handy with a new baby!In my effort to reduce waste, I have made produce bags. These are see through enough that the checker can read the label and they have a draw string to close. I love them! You can store the fruit and vegs in them and they help them to breath better then plastic. I got the material for $1.50 a yard at Wal*Mart and made 6 out of 1 yard. They might become my Christmas presents this year! Any takers?I made 2 twirly skirts for Boo and Enemme. Unfortunately no one got a pic of the two of them together but Karla did get this one of me and Boo:

Their moms found tops that matched perfectly. Apparently she wears it all the time! I guess I need to get started on another one. Maybe poodle skirt next?

Thanks Brandy! Now if only I could find something to make for my own baby! There are not a lot of boys clothes patterns out there.
