3rd day of Kindergarten.....Waiting for the bus.

3rd Day of Kindergarten...Riding the Bus

Yesterday we missed the bus. I didn't know what time it was to arrive and it passed by the house as we were walking toward the road. She apparently missed us, too, because she stopped about 50 yards from the mail box and was going to wait on us but cars started piling up behind her.

Ethan wanted to make sure we did not miss it today!

Apparently LilE and I were walking too slow. He had to run all the way! He was NOT going to miss it this morning.

He was so excited to ride the bus but he stopped after he got on just to tell me "I'm going to miss you, Mama."

After he left LilE started crying because she wanted to go with him. She said "When it gets night time where will Ethan sleep at Kindergarten? I want to take a bed to Kindergarten so he will have somewhere to sleep." So sweet she is so worried about him. I did explain it to her that he will be coming home at noon and sleep in his own bed.

To my Son on your 1st day of Kindergarten~

 You are the most awesome 5 year old I could have ever hoped for. You are sweet and thoughtful, kind and considerate, energetic and determined. Even though you love being at home you are excited to be going to Kindergarten and ride the Bus! This year will be full of learning and growing, for the both of us. 

Thank you for being in my life. I love being your mom! You will always be my little man. I love you, Ethan!

First Day of Preschool in Oregon

We got Ethan into a new preschool about a month after we got here. I really feel his attitude is so much better when he can get away from Mom and Sis for awhile and play with other kids :) He loves school so much. 

It's 2 days a week for 3 hours. They also do lots of field trips, most of which Lily and I join.

His new school is near Eli's campus so Mr. Ethan gets to ride forward facing in Daddy's car! (The seat wasn't accessible rear facing in Eli's tiny back seat.) 

He loves it.

It was pretty hard for me to let him leave that first day. 

So Lily and I tagged along.

We had to stop and talk to the ducks on the way in.

These little fellas have no fear.

He is having a lot of fun at school! We have 2 field trips planned for this week. He's not even 4 yet and already keeping me busy :)

School Days

While the kids and I were shopping at the thrift store we ran across this picture frame. I passed by it thinking that my babies were too little to need this right now.

But before we know it we will be here......

And not too long after that we will be here......

He loves it.

We will hang it in his room and add a new picture each year.

And when it is full and he has graduated from High School and moved on to College I will move it out into the Living Room so I can remember the day we bought it.
