"Let's Get Organized" was the project for this week. This comes from Totally Stitchin (who also has a ton of great projects!). I was so excited to get started I couldn't wait for the weekend. I had to start this on Thursday night and finish it up on Friday morning.
I have had this material for some time and didn't have any ideas of what I could do with it. It was a very odd pattern that looked like quilt pieces. It worked perfect for this project!
Here's little Ethan eating dinner while I sewed on Thursday night! He's such a good boy and comes running when he hears the machine start up.

I am happy to say I didn't have to buy anything for this project. I had everything I needed in my sewing stash. I even had a nice piece to back it with and ribbon to match.
Here is the organizer all rolled up. I don't think I will ever really need to travel with it but it looks nice.

Hi Melissa! Wow, yours looks so good and sturdy too! So glad you're taking part in this week's Sew It and thanks for visiting my blog too! :)
I love that the fabrics came from your stash, I am so trying to use my stash, or start to use it at any rate. These are fun bright colors and I think they (fabric) were waiting for this project. just really a great job.
